MAKING ONE GREAT SHOW!!

Dear All LTR Member,
Would u like to participate in one great show? Me and Horace were discussing about making a show which will be performed by whoever out there. Can u imagine performing a piece whether metal or progressive (tbc) backed by full orchestrated symphony. Just imagine Metallica S&M and you'll get the gist of what i'm talkin' bout. But to have that kind of show in Brunei would be awesome don't cha think.

So all i'm asking is if u guys have any recommendation about these ideas. I know these is possible. And i would also like to ask for any keyboardist who are interested to be the orchestrated musician coz instead of using real orchestra, we're thinkin' all the violin and ensemble stuff will be played by at least 5 keyboardist minimum.

Anyone interested can give some input here so we can make it possible. Others have already made it, why not us??? Think bout it.... :)

kalau guitarist..memang bnyak mau ne. so i would volunteer only if no one else wants to.

but how are you planning on doing these? Live on stage? live on net video? kalau live on stage like a proper gig, then is there chance to get approval? where r u planning on doing these? (KB i presumed)

its a great idea. i had six month of beginner keyboard class a loooooooooooooooooong time ago. where we did orchestrated music with just 12 Keyboardist and a drummer..i played the easy stuff leeerrr hahaha...it was boring when i played by myself but it was mind blowing when we combined everyone.

Tq for the reply bro. Btw, the keybordist will be only as a back up musician bro. The main music will be performed by actual guitarist, bassist and drummer. I'm thinkin' of doing stage show which will take place in Bandar. About the approval, i realize masa ne it's too damn difficult to get it; but what if we do these show on a certain cause, like donation or anything. Surely Brunei government will look into these good cause and hopefully we are granted to do these anywhere. Sooooo, i will try to get more info on these and maybe i try to get sponsor for these occasion. Tapi for the time being, aku just need to know if enough people are willing to participate (hopefully :)..)

Great idea bro...but if u can get someone who really play violin and other orchestra thing that would be better...not that i can play violin,I just like the sound. if i can play, i like to paticipate as a backup musician...but klau mau cari bassist, i would volunteer...nda plg steady,kn ambil exp saja...backup bassist pun boleh lh..

Rugged plang tu bro, tapi it will take more than 24 players of violin, violas, cello to form ensemble tu bro. But still your idea are great and awesome bro. If u want to be the bassist ok tu bro. For the pieces that we will play, Horace have some materials and we can all also discuss about what material we are going to use, if u hav, u can share it with us. Btw, for the orchestrated part, i will composed it after we all finalize the song.

I'm not sure if i can come up with good material, but i'll share if i hav any. I've never play progressive before so this is new to me,

SODAxAL, aku nda plang pernah main in any orchestra. But my roots are from classical music and I use a lot of orchestral instrument in my music. So kira buleh lh tu ah hehehe...
Don't worry, even you never play progressive, doesn't mean you can't contribute. For me, pebaik alternative di masukkan arah progressive, still buleh wah hehehe. These is what i called 'instantaneous improvisation' lol

I have the songs composed, around 3-4 for the past week. The songs im composing will be in variation.. im not gonna expose what the specific genre-roots yet. But yeah... it will b metal. Come and participate with us. Definitely it'll b a fun gig once a while.

now..mcmana kan practice? untuk censorship board, i would prepare demo recording for review. with lyrics of course. to ease the process.

Practice will be decided after we all agree on the materials and also semua players sudah ada. Btw, number of players will be decided from the composition materials... so, aku masih menunggu material2 dlu from Horace. Btw, Kayarex and SODAxaL, if u have some materials to be input, please share with us. And Kayarex, i know u have experience doing and organising show, we might need a loooooooot of your help in the future hehehe

i dun mind giving my ideas. organising show is easy but going thtu the censorship board and get approval is the hard bit. nonetheless im willing to help out.
