So who went to pelangi award last saturday? i only heard part of it, i heard the one with maria, the seeds,putri and hans... i was laughing my ass off when i hear how the seeds sang!! Now we know how crap he sings LIVE!! He couldnt even reach some of the notes in the song! hahaha... dalam studio album recording bulih lah tweak sana tweak sini to make thing sound perfect, but not live my boy!! hahaha..

anyway..apa results nya ah anyone knows?

Frust ku.. klip nda manang. Tapi nyaman ketawa ku bila c Amer (klip vokalis) raised his vocal once a while. One thing i dont realli favour about this event is tht music are all minus1 except vocals. I was glad my sound quality for Klip punya music sounds great dlm radio.

But still im not satisfied with the system tht was organised smlm. Macamana kan tau if tht band or solo artist ada quality sedangkan music atu d rakam lebih awal... thts bull****! Bnyk lagi solo artis suara sumbang... kalau berakam bukan main canggih. Cuba live nah.. baru minus1 tu~ I know this is for pelangi fm to promote their station & thts good.

Overall i say quality music scene tani alum brapa bagus, event peringkat bergelar artis. :p

hey bro..dun worry about KLIP. next year mase ada wah. SOLO artis suara sumbang atu menunjukan yang antara mereka mase mengharapkan the TECHNOLOGY to make them sound great on album! what a whole of CRAP.

nah, mana tia the seeds ahh... commenting local musicians lain bukan main, ani LIVE mcm org nyanyi karaoke!! thats the different with real singer and an amateur. puas atu ku lah that they show their hidden weakness that local listeners never knew. sapa2 yang kenal the seeds atu, gtau ja lain kali jgn luan pandai2 mencomment local music and the musician kalau diri atu mase dikira ORANG BARU dlm local scene! bulih comment..tpi only on your own music/standard.

To upcoming local musician, jgn kan mengucapkan local musician yang lain, just concentrate on your own and on how to improve the local music scene.

BTW, working with RTB isnt such a nice experience especially dealing with stage sound. THEY DONT RECOGNISE MUSICIAN'S RIGHTS! The so called "QUALIFIED" RTB sound engineers seems to think they have more right than the musicians!... iatah nada tu!

kwang kwang kwang!!! Kalau nya mengharap kan studio work atu sapa2 pun bleh buat untuk tunjuk terer~ I have perform live myself even sing lagi d jp amphitheater for two times. It was not an easy job and i was never satisfied with my own performance. Tht i admit to think at a professional way.

Kalau nya untuk fun saja, YES... i was having fun with my previous band. Nama nya underground band kan... yg penting enjoy!

Ni nah kesian ku mliat band2 baru tani yg artis ah. If ada event macamani, jgn tah luan di ikut tu rules and regulations ah, u will never gonna show ur potential as a musician kalau nya makai minus1. Kalau aku drummer wah, tantu ku duduk ja tu makan nasi minum kupi!!

If it was me, i would not agree on the minus1.. but the thing is for band performing with RTB, munus 1 is better. bcoz like what i said in the earlier thread, they engineer dun know musician's right, so ur sound will be crap and all.. i did argue about why i need the Amp to be mic'd, they listened but they didnt do anything about it.

Yatah bah... micing the amp IS better than going thru direct box and all. Mliat band2 baru ani, kira nya drg bleh makan la catu. Hahaha... kalau aku jgn tahkan cuba2. Brapa kan umur engineer drg d sana atu? ku rasa drg malas bah yatah cematu kali, nda kan nda tau papa... nama ja certified sound engineer.

Didn't watch it but heard n read lots of it..gpun nda up to date with d local scene since 96..semua kah kana masukkan 2 or band n solo yg kana tapis dah? Believe me in this world rock including others associated with it is hard 2 make a breakthrough..would be a miracle if ada..

Your opinion will not valid especially when u hvnt update urself with the local rock/metal scene. besides if i give my recommendation of the band for u to listen will be bias.
It wasnt miracle that happened then (ONCE).. it was more of being different and original. but yes, its hard for band to breakthrough the local scene unless the dj is your friend. In the seeds case , one of the Kristal DJ is responsible for their recording, so of course he would make his fellow dj to play their song often. its true. but the seeds arent metal/rock so its easy for listener to accept.
for me, miracle isnt the appropriate word, but LUCK is.
