Well, based on ur pc spec, that is the minimum requirement for Cubase 4. Truthfully, I don't like Cubase ram hungry persona and even a 4gb of ram can get choked if too many plug-ins are running in Cubase and lucky for its complete tools that it is still my favourite choice.
I think if u insist on using Cubase, u might as well add more ram to ur pc unless u can try other not so ram hungry application like Ableton (use VST plug-ins) or Sonar (use RTAS plug-ins) which work nearly as well as Cubase.

But we can still install and test it on your system how well ur pc handles it by using my original installer and my dongle license. If it handles well, then u can proceed to purchased Cubase 4.
