IMHO, the zoom has massive killing Distortion man! thats all pulang xD but i never own any, im still stuck on the stupid Digitech gnx3 =s im craving for a line 6 and boss gt's, im craving for it so much just like a girl craving for DQ's blizzard =s

talking about effect...hmm. well i owned line6 pod xt before..but i sold it...then i bought the GT8...but then again i seldom use it coz i plug my guitar straight thru my 6505+ via my cabs.. i just recently bought 2 new celestion Vintage30 and it sound much better.. thanks to horace coz dulu nda ku tau ni sal vintage30. and now im back with my pedals which i own since 91..and i thought i was not gonna use it again..and here i am. back to pedals! kalau time2 kami dulu,kana panggil POST BOX!POST BOX! haha...

talking about distorion ani...u have to get thru years of playing before ur ear becomes mature and start to know what is a good overdrive. mun dulu i would just crank the drive on my metalzone to full...but now it doesnt even go past 60% of the drive. well im not sure of ur "massive killing distortion" means...but kalau tone like Lamb of God latest album,then thats a killer. heavy,crisp,precise and coherent.
too heavy of a tone will just kills the song. some people complained during a recording about their guitar tone not sounding as heavy as during jamming...payah kan explained until they hear the final outcome of the recording when all instruments been recorded... .

and my final opinion..ZOOM..not my taste. it never impresses me. but diff people have diff taste.

dont get multieffects if its my option. More than 10years of experience, i never get myself multieffects. Its always postbox!! In my previous band dulu we were covering korn's music and i have 6 - 7 (that includes wah, digitech whammy and the digitech talker) of em laid on the floor! Carrying the case was heavy as shit!! Analogue is much better than digital..... in some cases. Heheh

A tubescreamer can make a gain boost to an existing amp. If ur amp have a built in overdrive, then u might wana try it out. Its different from ordinary distortion postbox. I would like to have a tubescreamer, model TS808 modded (modified) warna ijau with typical 3 knobs.

Try checking out youtube for ibanez tubescreamer.. mana tau ada urg pakai practice amp with it jua.
